Moderate Risk

Good Afternoon,

We are in a Moderate Risk for Severe Weather Tuesday. I hoping for some rain in the morning and the warm front to stay south. I am not completely sold on this, it is not a classic set-up. Watch the skies and Pray!! I have more tonight when the latest data is in.
**UPDATE 10:00pm**
There is a Tornado Watches across KS now including Wichita, KS, there could be some rain in the morning w/a chance of Severe Weather. Our best chance will be tomorrow evening and possibly early Wednesday. We'll have to see the overnight data before I say whether or not the Severe Wx will be there. As I said above, if it rains and stays cloudy all day, the rain would help keep temps cool. We'll just have to see tomorrow morning.

Tornado Watches

Good Afternoon,

There are Tornado Watches up North and West if us. I expect the best chance for Severe Weather to stay up North in Northern Mo, All of IW, and parts of Nebraska. Watch the skies and send any pics to me @ kcweather@tornadochaser.every1.net .

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

A STRONG UPPER LEVEL STORM SYSTEM WILL TRACK INTO THE CENTRAL PLAINS
ON SUNDAY. VERTICAL WIND SHEAR ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SYSTEM WILL BE
STRONG. HOWEVER...THE AMOUNT OF LOW LEVEL MOISTURE AND THUS DEGREE OF
INSTABILITY REMAIN IN QUESTION. IF SUFFICIENT INSTABILITY CAN
DEVELOP...A FEW SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WOULD BE POSSIBLE SUNDAY
AFTERNOON AND EVENING. LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS WOULD BE THE
PRIMARY THREATS.

A SECOND STRONG STORM SYSTEM...TAKING A SIMILAR TRACK AS THIS
WEEKEND`S SYSTEM...WILL MOVE INTO THE CENTRAL PLAINS BY EARLY TUESDAY
AND BRING A GOOD CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS TO THE REGION TUESDAY AND
TUESDAY EVENING. AGAIN...THE DEGREE OF INSTABILITY AND TIMING OF THE
SYSTEM WILL DETERMINE THE SEVERE THREAT. AT THIS TIME THERE IS THE
POTENTIAL FOR A FEW SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ON TUESDAY AND TUESDAY
EVENING.

SPOTTER ACTIVATION MAY BE NECESSARY SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND
EVENING AS WELL AS ON TUESDAY.

Rain staying South

Good Evening,

We are in a this wet, stormy pattern for at least a week. The chance for Severe Wx Saturday night into Sunday is slim for now. I'm watching it very carefully as things continue to change. Remember to go to Purchase StormLab Radar at a discounted price!

Rain chances slim.

Good Morning,

The Storm System going by today is going far south, which means, the rain chacne will be around 30%-40%. The farther South you go, better is the chance for rain. I next chance is slim too, Friday. Our Severe Weather Chance for Saturday and Sunday is still slim. We need to wait a few more days before talking about the Severe Wx Threat. The SPC still says in their 4-8 day outllook that we will have a chance for Severe Wx. I am updating the 5 Day as new data is coming in.
